Hi, I’m Colin!

This site was setup to document a little bit about myself, my technical and creative efforts and interests, and just share some general thoughts.

About me

I’m currently a recent grad in Mechanical Engineering, looking to further my studies in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, and Mechatronics (or a bit of everything!).

I really love what I do and strongly believe that this combination of subjects provides me with useful tools to navigate the world around me, and apply what I’m passionate about with purpose and meaning. I enjoy learning and diving deep into topics, as this leads to greater knowledge, better understandings, and smarter ways to solve problems.

I’m still honing in on what really, really excites me. I know I’m strongly passionate about research and design, and its applications to the world. As far as specifics go, I’m interested in electronics research, specifically quantum computing, applied electromagnetics and photonics, satellites, robotics, and the materials and hardware that make them all work!

As for hobbies, I love to surf, ride bikes, golf, and be outside in nature. I also enjoy making and producing music, and tinkering with all kinds of stuff!
